“Arch Rhythm” 2010 Album

$10.00

In 2007 Eliquate front man Elliot Wright embarked on a project that would come to be know as Arch Rhythm. Originally started as a solo project Arch Rhythm was set aside when Wright relocated from the North Bay to Santa Cruz in 2008,  where he was introduced to soon to be producer Jamie Schnetzler. Together, the two of them dusted off the cobwebs from the project and set out to create something new, different, and influenced by their newly forged collaborative efforts. Over the next few years the Arch Rhythm was developed, and inspired by the willingness to experiment with different musical models. The album is intended to be a melding of different musical backgrounds and educations. From jazz to hip hop to rock to folk to singer songwriter duets, thanks to the addition of Audiafauna’s Kelly Koval. By the time the album had been fully composed in 2010, the group had gone from a 2 piece produce emcee combo, to a 6 person live music experience. With the addition of Cosmo Stevens on base, Dan Wells on drums, Justin Mosely on key, and Kelly Koval’s melodic vocals, eliquate was able to bridge the gap segregating musical genre  stereotypes, and create something that is truly unique and very difficult to give justice to by classification. All that can be said is, you just have to listen.
