Hip Hop in the Bay Area
Being a hip hop band in the bay area has played a key role in the success of Eliquate. After the past few West Coast tours, Eliquate has played alongside some of biggest legends of the underground hip-hop scene including RJD2, Murs, Zion-I, Del, Souls of Mischief, Planet Asia, Andre Nickatina, and Luckyiam.PSC of the Living Legends. It’s no surprise that Eliquate’s devoted fanbase has grown exponentially from their local Santa Cruz, CA roots to the greater San Francisco Bay Area, Pacific Northwest, and all the way down through Central and Southern California.
Hip Hop's Latest & Greatest:
Eliquate is the culmination of being inspired by hip hop legends, being poetic, rockin out, and staying intelligent. Eliquate aspires to artists who stay true to real conscious hip hop you see from artists in Rhymesayers, Living Legends and other emcees who genuinely give a fuck about what their music is actually telling people. Eliquate sounds like Atmosphere and the Red Hot Chili Peppers joined forces: Smart lyrics and a damn good time. But all names aside, Eliquate is truly a band that knows how to get everyone in the room dancing-- with an emcee like Elliot Wright, he does a lot more than just merely spit rhymes.
Eliquate is based in Santa Cruz but is very willing to play anywhere, but definitely not limited to, the following areas:
Santa Cruz | San Jose | San Francisco | Oakland | Berkeley | Southern California | The Middle of Nowhere | Munchkin Land | Marin | Cupertino | Palo Alto | Los Angeles | Marin | San Diego | Mars | Pacific Northwest | Your Dirty Frat House | San Rafael | Any Party | Festivals | Santa Rosa | Sacramento | Chico | Narnia | Middle Earth | SXSW!
